-Kimmish Marriage FAQ-Last Updated: May 2, 2003Ahh... well.. given the recent news of Brad and mine's engagement.. Lots of questions have arrose.. and most people ask the same ones as everyone else.. So.. I figured.. hey.. let's save myself some typing.. and just type em all out on one page.. and then if they start asking.. I can hand em a link instead.. lol. So.. you're getting married? Um.. yes.. lol... I am.. go figure eh? When are you getting married anyway? September 27, 2003 at 7PM.. hoooow spiffy! Who is this guy? His name is Brad.. he lives in Australia (go figure).. When did yall meet? I first learned of his existance on May 5th, 2000.. but I "met" him on ICQ on July 8th, 2000.. And have talked to him nearly every day for hours every since.. HOW did yall meet? Ahh.. but if I told you that.. I'd have to kill you.. Have you met him? Not yet..I'm planning a trip to Australia for when I turn 18.. Hee.. it's gonna be awesome >: ) (**Update!!** I'm leaving here on April 7th, 2003, and returning the 28th.. WOO! I got my tickets!!!! WOO!!!!!!!!!) **UPDATE!!!!** We have officially met in person. I stayed at his house (in his room) for three weeks.. from April 9th till April 28th.. We are still very.. very much in love.. and entirely intending on getting married the same as we were before I left here... September 27th... ohh yeah. WHAT?!! You don't even know him!! I told her first.. She even calls him "her son".. so um.. yeah.. Dad.. well.. he's learning to accept it.. lol.. He hasn't said "YOU CANT DO THAT!!" or anything.. he's just not that excited about "losing me" which is entirely understandable.. But I know he wants me to be happy.. and I know he loves me and wouldn't hinder me from doing what I know in my heart is right.. (Kimmish Update: Dad is now.. much.. much better about it.. he's happy.. he likes Brad ALOT.. and he's confident that our relationship is going to work.. He's helping with the planning even.. it's shocking.. but I love it) [Kimmish Update: Dad and I are like two partners in crime with this wedding business... and he's paying for everything..(Thanks daddy!!) We have a place reserved with a deposit and everything.. the plans are going just perfect : )] My grandparents know now too.. and they seem pleased and or excited.. wooooooo.. yay! **Update** Dad says that Brad very much acts like he loves me.. but is still "waiting to see" if he will come through with everything and actually come here to marry me. You're only 17 (Kimmish Update: I'm 18 now fool!!).. and youre getting married? How old is he? Does this mean I have to go all the way to Australia for a wedding? Can I come? Possibly. If I know you on the internet only.. and I haven't said that I want you to come already.. then more than likely. NO. But should I know you in real life already.. and I haven't told you off recently.. then probably so.. CAN I BE IN THE WEDDING?!?!? If I haven't mentioned it to you yet.. NO. I'm probably not having brides maids.. or a maid of honor.. I don't want to have every female I know on earth mad at me if they aren't picked.. The only people, more than likely, are going to be me, Brad, his best man (if he has one), my parents, my "flower girl", and my Uncle Uzel as the pastor.. So. Ner. (Kimmish Update: Umm.. hehe... I kinda.. broke one of my own wedding rules.. but I don't mind.. I'm here to announce that my friend Melanie!!.. is officially the maid of honor... WOO!! FORK POWER!) Oh...... where are yall going to live? Did he ask you to get married..? How did all this come about? Actually.. yes he did.. But it didn't come about that way at first.. He went camping with a few of his mates.. and he was talking about me (awww) and two of em said, "JUST MARRY HER ALREADY!!" in unison.. So.. we started concidering it more than we (or atleast I..) already were.. Then he asked if someone can marry someone else if their parents have addopted them (Don't ask..lol) and I said something like, "Well if we were to get married.." and he said, "Lol.. if... you say it like it may not happen : P" So that's when I knew he actually wanted to.. and ofcourse I did.. so we started planning right then basically.. Oh.. and if you're REALLY nosey and picky.. That happened on October 19, 2001.. A few days after that he asked just to see what I'd say.. Hee.. gosh he's sweet : ) Are you SEERIOUS about this? What makes you think you wont end up divorced or something? Lol.. yes.. we're 100% serious.. and I know we won't "end up divorced" because we both don't BELIEVE in divorce.. So ner. We're both very aware of what we're doing.. and how much commitment is involved.. We're not stupid. I'll just leave it at that. Are you going to have children? No.. we aren't.. I can't have children.. plus we both don't even want them.. They just aren't for us.. I'd much rather have a Beagle.. and so would he.. lol.. so after we're married a while we'll get one of thoes.. and we'll name it Rambo.. just because we can : P and if I hear about another dog or cat named Rambo since posting this.. I'm gonna hurt somebody.. and it's gonna be YOU FOO! Did he buy you a ring? **MAJOR Update** I officially have a real engagement ring now.. one of my very own.. that we picked out together while I was in Australia.. We bought it from this really nice lady at Thomas Jewellers in Melbourne.. She was very excited to sell it to us.. and it's just goregeous. It's a sleek little thing in white gold that has a sapphire with two diamonds (one on each side).. it's sparkely and I promise I will have pictures of it soon. He's got daaaark brown hair and daaark brown eyes.. he's thin, but not overly.. and he's 5'9" (a foot and three inches taller than me).. Absolutly perfect : ) He's the perfect mix of nerdy and dead se... err...hm.. really good lookin ; P What does your dress look like? Well I'm having it custom made because I really didn't have any other option.. I have a page about it Here.. WOO! Can I get drunk at your wedding?! Um.... no. No you can't.. we're not having alcohol of any kind.. We're both non-drinkers.. Personal and health reasons.. Plus we don't want to deal with how crazy people get when they drink.. So nope.. no drunkness.. But even without alcohol if you're there I can promise you you'll have a good time.. You might just get a natural "contact high" anyway : P..
