  • July 8, 2000: Met online
  • October 19, 2001: Decided to get married
  • April 9, 2003: Met in person in Australia
  • April 28, 2003: I left Australia : (
  • August 30, 2003: Brad arrived in Houston : )!
  • September 27, 2003: Had our big family wedding.
  • October 27, 2003: We went to the INS office and asked if we could get married/if he could stay. We got a huge stack of forms, were told yes, and congratulations.

    • We also went to the county clerk and finally got our marriage license!
  • October 30, 2003: We had our legal ceremony and were pronounced man and wife! WOO!
  • November 11, 2003: Brad had his INS Physical.. Cost: $230.00
  • November 11-22, 2003: I filled out form after form to Adjust Status, get Employment Authorization, and file a Petition for a Relative. Cost: $555.00
  • November 23, 2003: The INS received our forms we had sent via FedEx Cost: 11 dollars.
  • June 6, 2004: We got Brad's Employment Authorization Card.
  • September 3, 2004: We received our Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview.
  • September 27, 2004: We had our first wedding anniversary.
  • November 12, 2004: We had the interview and received Brad's Conditional Permanent Residency, and another congratulations.
Total Time Spent: 4 Years, 18 weeks, and 2 days.
Total INS Waiting Time: 355 days.
Total Money Spent (Not counting wedding stuff and plane tickets): $796.00.
